Beijing Hyundai has officially rolled out its first pure-electric global SUV, the Elexio EO, with production beginning on October 16, 2025. The compact SUV will be priced between 130,000 and 150,000 yuan (approximately USD 18,200 to 21,000).

Built on Hyundai’s E-GMP global EV platform, the Elexio EO blends futuristic styling with long-range capability, boasting up to 722 km of CLTC-certified range. The front end features crystal-inspired figure-8 daytime running lightsand an illuminated logo, giving the SUV a bold, high-tech presence.

In terms of dimensions, the EO measures 4,615 mm long, 1,875 mm wide, and up to 1,698 mm high, with a 2,750 mm wheelbase. It rides on stylish 20-inch alloy wheels and carries a muscular stance with flared arches, hidden door handles, and a floating roofline.

Inside, the EO embraces minimalism with a stepped centre console, a 27-inch dual 4K display setup, and a two-tone multifunction steering wheel. The traditional instrument cluster is replaced by a head-up display, enhancing its modern, clutter-free cabin layout.

Depending on the configuration, the EO uses either a 64.2 kWh or 88.1 kWh LFP battery, offering CLTC ranges between 518 km and 722 km.
